Lori's Fitness Tips

Try Coconut Water as a Rescue

As we roll into the most lovely of months in the Pacific Northwest when we still enjoy some heat, try reaching for some pure coconut water. It is a natural electrolyte drink that provides many minerals that regulate the body systems and helps to keep fluid levels in balance. It is a low-calorie beverage that hydrates you without the sweeteners, preservatives and artificial sweeteners found in most commercial sports drinks. It's a great post-workout thirst quencher.
